Research interests: 19th and 20th Century European Philosophy (especially German idealism, Nietzsche, Existentialism and Hermeneutics); Philosophy of Religion; Philosophy and Literature; Cultural Theory.
Current research projects:
'The notion of sacrifice in the Post-Kantian Tradition';
'The God of Hegel's Post-Kantian Idealism' (together with Paul Redding)
