About
Associate Professor Michele Ford teaches in the Department of Indonesian Studies at the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on social movements in Southeast Asia, with a particular emphasis on labour movements, along with labour migration and transnational communities in the Indonesia-Singapore borderlands. She is currently working on an ARC-funded project that looks at trade union and NGO responses to migrant labour in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
